Welcome to Home-Start Falkirk

Home-Start Falkirk is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age. We aim to support families with young children who are facing difficulties. We are there for parents when they need us the most, because childhood can’t wait.

We recognise the ongoing challenges of raising children in the safest and most nurturing of environments whilst coping with the stresses of ill health, isolation, disrupted relationships, poor & insecure housing, financial insecurity, trauma, abuse and loss. Sometimes, we all just need someone to talk to, to be there to hear us.

We recruit and train volunteers to visit families at home where they can offer informal, friendly and confidential support. We also offer Family Groups in five locations across Falkirk which provide parents with a wide range of activities and external support.
