Give a Little Love

John Lewis and Waitrose are raising much-needed awareness and funds for Home-Start and FareShare to support 100,000 families.

Give a Little Love

Last year (2020) has been toughest on those already struggling. But we’ve also seen communities coming together. We keep that spirit of generosity and encourage people to give a little love over Christmas and beyond by giving their time, money and voice to support Home-Start.

John Lewis and Waitrose have launched their ‘Give a Little Love’ campaign to raise much-needed awareness and funds for Home-Start and FareShare to support 100,000 families.

Read on to find out how you can help us to be there when we are needed most.

You can also visit the John Lewis website to find out more about the background to the campaign, the reasons for choosing us as one of their partners, to see the full Christmas advert and to download the wonderful advert soundtrack by Celeste.

You Could Volunteer With Us

Volunteer With Us

Our work alongside families can only happen as well as it does with the power of volunteering.

Each year, hundreds share their time and experience with local families facing difficulties. It could be a few hours each week to visit a family in their home, connecting remotely with a family by phone or online to help them keep in touch or working with us in communities and in our groups to help build new connections with people and local space.

We value your time. We value you.

And donating through the #GiveALittleLove campaign means that our friends at John Lewis will match every £1 donated up to a massive £2million!
